Digital Art Show 2020: "Artifacts"
Students and Parents: I am looking for pictures of your children making art to include in our 2020 digital art show. I will be working to put together a movie of photos capturing students making art in their own environments as well as photos capturing artwork from earlier in the school year that I was able to collect from the building before closure.
Submissions are due NO LATER THAN MAY 22nd, 2020 to be included in the video.
I will upload the finished art show movie by Tuesday, May 26th to youtube and will additionally post the video here for viewing. If you do not want your child's picture featured in the video, please send in photos of just their artwork. I already have a growing collection of images and videos of students showing off their at home art projects. Any part of the artmaking process is worth sharing. Please send your photos for the art show in to Miss England A.S.A.P.!!! [email protected]

Week 3: Examining Values, Culture and Identity "Me & We"
This week we will examine and articulate our own culture(s) while also exploring the culture and artistic styles of others
Consider the answers to these questions...
Who am I?
Who is my family?
Who is my neighbor?
Where do I live?
Where is my community?
What are the landscapes of my world?
What foods do I like to eat?
What objects reflect my identity?
Explore any of the ideas suggested below to create art this week

Week 2: Building Community through Art This week we are going to talk about roles of artists in their communities. I want you to begin by thinking about: "Who are people in my community?"
Draw all of the people you can think of that make up your community.
When we were voting for our favorite pieces of artwork, I asked you to think of what you would title the piece of artwork you voted for. From your responses, I have chosen the best 4 "titles" for you to choose from as we VOTE to NAME our TOP 5 Finalists' pieces of artwork. Cast your vote at:
